The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Riverview Health is Ranked # 6 by Newsweek for "American's Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2022" in the state. Certified by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as an "Inpatient Rehabilitation Program for Adults, with an additional designation as a Stroke Specialty Program for Adults."
It's been more than four decades since the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has seen a facelift, leaving the facilities in a much-needed state of repair. As the county hospital for Hamilton County, Riverview Health doesn't receive taxpayer funding for any operating support, but cares for all.
